Home remedies are usually slow, and are meant only for smaller problems like blackheads, whiteheads, or common pimples. If the acne appears to be slightly worse with inflammation, swelling, and reddening of skin, it would be better to visit a doctor. There are several other topical treatments available. The type of treatment to be given is decided by the doctor.

Wipe the oily spots on your face by rubbing alcohol or a combination of alcohol and acetone that helps degrease your oily skin. Many drugstores even sell pre-moistened, individually wrapped alcohol wipes that are really portable, you can carry them in your purse for quick touch-ups all day long.

There are so many home remedies to maintain yourself if you have an oily skin. You have to take care of your diet. A balanced diet can help you balancing the oil of your body. Always take balanced and healthy food to avoid oily skin. Smoking can increase the oil level of your body. It is better to avoid smoking if you are facing problems for oily skin. Use face wash if you want to get rid of an oily skin. You can by any good face wash that is well known in the market. Clean your face with that face wash gently to remove the oil from your skin.
